Russian crew returns from shooting the first feature film on the ISS

Shooting for the first long feature film in space has been wrapped. Space.com Report Russian actress Yulia Pereslid, Klim producer Shipenko and Cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy have returned to earth after the first two spent 12 days recording their film challenges at the Space Station. The three left the ISS on the Soyuz spacecraft at 9:14 east on October 16 and landed in Kazakhstan just hours later, at 12:35 a.m Pereslid and Shipenko arrived on October 5 through an agreement between the Russian Space Agency Roscosmos, TV network channels and yellow, black and white production studios. Novitskiy has been around since April 9 as part of its regular task, even though it also plays a key role – this film has pereslid playing surgeons who make emergency visits to the ISS operating on cosmonauts.

Film making requires significant sacrifice for several ISS crews. Astronaut NASA Mark Vande Hey and Russian cosmonaut Pyotr Dubrov was originally scheduled to ride the Soyuz capsule, but both have their stay extended six months to accommodate film producers. Vande Hei will set a record for the longest spaceflight by US astronauts as a result, spent exactly one year in orbit. Pereslid also broke the land as the first professional actor to visit the room, beat William Shatner about a week.

Will be short before the challenge is ready to watch, and it is safe to say production is intended, especially at Russian hearings. This is a major milestone for the use of private space, and signaling in the future when Tom Cruise and other stars often explode to produce performances in orbit.
